In this session, you will learn how two communities, Rose Villa Senior Living Community and Mary’s Woods have kept their communities active, during COVID 19. Learn how they have adapted their wellness programs with innovative programming ideas while still embracing the 7 dimensions of wellness.

Rene' Swar, Wellness Director, Rose Villa
B.S. Secondary Education in Physical Education and Health. Rene’ has been in the fitness industry for over 33 years and is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Senior Strength & Specialty Coach. She is also the co-chair of the Portland Community Exercise Science Advisory Committee and is the chair of the Portland Community College Exercise Science Scholarship Committee. She loves helping others make fitness a part of their lifestyle.

Corrina Stellflug, Director of Fitness & Wellness, Mary's Woods at Marylhurst
Corrina has been a part of the Mary’s Woods Wellness team since 2014 and has worked in retirement communities for over 12 years. She graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Physical Activity and has several certifications including Certified Personal Trainer, Yoga Instructor, Senior Fitness Association and more. She has completed many leadership training programs with LeadingAge Oregon, Mary’s Woods Leadership Program and Leadership Isn’t Rocket Science. Corrina enjoys helping people reach their fitness and wellness goals while maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
