Advocacy:

This week, the state unveiled the revenue forecast, which will serve as the foundation for the 2023-2025 budget discussions among lawmakers. The forecast projects an additional $1.96 billion in revenue.

Notably, during the revenue forecast meeting, legislators discussed the increasing number of aging adults in Oregon, particularly those over the age of 85. Our next step is to engage with legislators and advocate for funding investments in long-term care. The ongoing Republican walkout in the Oregon Senate has stalled legislative business, and if it continues, it will leave unanswered questions about how the budget will proceed.
